Sheng announced that he was getting married with Kiu. Everyone found that hard to believe. Mui thought Kiu was pregnant and was secretly happy. Ngo felt lost. Sai saw a beautifully dressed Fuk and fell in love. Yuen was fully recovered according to her psychologist and was permitted to resume her work at the force. Wai admitted that he was frequently abused by On, but his mother Lan still tried to cover up for On. Ngo could do nothing about this. Lan discovered that On was having an affair with a women in China and quarreled with On. On beat Lan and On again and she decided to take charge against him. Chiu wanted to woo Ngo and asked her out to dinner. Ngo knew his intention but thought he was taking her as a substitute of his dead wife. Yuen introduced Lan to work at her mother’s restaurant. Lan saw hope.
